Our Services

Dentistry is founded on the principle of prevention. We recommend biannual cleanings and examinations for all of our patients.

Cleaning and Prevention

When fillings just aren’t enough to restore heavily damaged or missing teeth these options can be used to bring back healthy smiles.

Crowns, Bridges and Veneers

Although we strive to retain teeth sometimes full or partial denture become an option due to periodontal (gum) disease or too few remaining strong teeth. Dentures are one solution to restoring dental health.

Dentures

Sometimes due to over filled, fractured or periodontally hopeless teeth extractions are necessary when the tooth have become unsalvageable. Every effort is alway made to avoid this last option.

Extractions

It’s always better to prevent caries but when detected early, fillings allow for conservative repairs. We use several types of filling materials always keeping aesthetics and cost in mind for our patients. Preservation is our goal.

Fillings

Dental implants replace missing teeth in a form that is almost indiscernible from a natural tooth. The dental implant is composed of two components: a titanium root and a ceramic crown (the visible portion of a tooth). This, duplicating what nature once provided restoring chewing, comfort and aesthetics. Our office concentrates on providing the visible portion of this tooth, the crown, whiled leaving the placement of the root or implant in the hands of expertly trained oral surgeons.

Implants

There are various ways to correct crooked or crowded teeth without the use of traditional braces. Aligner therapy is an alternative to traditional orthodontics that enhance smiles.

Invisible Alignment

The results of life’s stresses can sometimes become evident in our teeth. Excessive wear from night grinding can be controlled by the use of night guards that create a barrier that protect tooth structure from accelerated wear and fractures. Snoring can sometimes reduce restful sleep not to mention the lives of those around you. Snore appliances can be used to increase airway capacity and improve the quality of sleep.

Periodontal (gum) disease is more common that people think. Its danger lies in the fact that for the most part it is painless and can cause the loss of all of your teeth. Most commonly it starts as gingivitis, an inflammation of the gums which result in redness and bleeding. Left untreated is can lead to periodontal disease which results in halitosis (bad breath), gum recession and bone loss. In the end causing the loss of teeth. Periodontal disease can be worsened by smoking and other illnesses like diabetes. The key to controlling periodontal disease is early detection, treatment and maintenance.

Peridontal Treatment

A beautiful smile is more than just teeth. Cosmetic Botulinum toxin (Botox or Xeomin) is used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles around the forehead and crows feet area. Additionally, Botox is used for patients who clench or grind their teeth. This treatment reduces the tension in the muscles that cause grinding and can alleviate facial pain and protect teeth from fractures and wear.

Staining can reduce the appearance of a beautiful smile. Most staining is caused by smoking, tea and coffee. Although over the counter methods are very effective they do require more time that can lead to disappointing results. A alternative is professional teeth whitening with results that comparatively faster and more dramatic.
